IT Manager, Digital Marketing Solutions

Term: Anticipated 1 year

Location: Bergen County NJ – work is on site

 

Candidates must be commutable daily. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 6 years related work experience
  • Experience leading and managing IT teams to architect and deploy of Digital Marketing, multi-channel customer engagement solutions and other Sale and Marketing IT solutions in the pharma and/or biotech industry.
  • Must have SITECORE

 

The Role:

The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Solutions is responsible for monitoring and assessing industry, technical and functional trends to conceive, drive, implement and maintain innovative solutions or enhancements aligned with corporate objectives in support of the Sales and Marketing business areas. 

  • Interacting with Senior Executives and Directors of Commercial Operations, Managed Markets & Marketing, as well as marketing agencies, and digital content development vendors to conceive and drive development and implementation of strategic initiatives for, and aligned with, US & Global Marketing, Sales Training, Sales, and Corporate Communications digital marketing operations and strategic objectives.
  • Provide leadership in process/system analysis, design and development to identify, recommend, implement and support cost-effective Digital Marketing, multi-channel customer engagement and other technology solutions; serve as a key business relationship manager and escalation point from project/program inception to delivery; maintain alliances on projects; manage demand, scheduling requirements/conflicts; make operational decisions; and direct cross-functional teams (of business and technical resources) through the full systems development life cycle management of digital marketing and customer 360 oriented projects/programs.

The successful candidate will have:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years related work experience
  • Experience leading and managing IT teams to architect and deploy of Digital Marketing, multi-channel customer engagement solutions and other Sale and Marketing IT solutions in the pharma and/or biotech industry.
  • Globally oriented life science IT Manager with proven experience in IT application planning, development, deployment and support in Digital Marketing domains.
  • Strong business analysis skill and experience, including development of business/IT vision and strategy, requirements definition, process modeling, and operating model design.
  • Solid systems orientation with a thorough familiarity of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, mobility, social, IoT, and big data and its applicability to the Digital Marketing, and Analytics
  • Strong problem solving ability through insightful solutions which address complex issues. Ability to dissect root cause of issues creating the best solution for Company considering quality, cost, and speed requirements.
  • Strong technical knowledge and extensive application support experience with CRM Solutions Veeva; Content Management Systems (Sitecore); SEO/SEM; Google Analytics, Campaign Management platforms and other multi-channel customer engagement solutions in the pharma and biotech domain. 
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and Systems Development Life Cycle standards. Agile/Scrum experience, strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing business functions including principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience in managing application data in accordance with data privacy policies
